The Village Belle Hotel is excited to present our first Seasonal Winemakers Dinner; when award-winning Executive Chef, Mathew Macartney (former Executive Chef of Chateau Yering and The Lake House, Daylesford) will create delicious food sourced from the best local and sustainable producers in the Yarra Valley region for you to devour with paired Rob Dolan Wines.

Rob Dolan will be at the event to share his knowledge and passion for wine as well as to talk us through the selection of paired wines.

Rob Dolan has been making wine in the Yarra Valley for over 25 years. He has an outstanding winemaking record and has played a pivotal role in the evolution of the Yarra Valley. Rob's previous experience include winemaking at Yarra Ridge Winery and launched two highly successful Yarra Valley brands: Punt Road and Sticks ("Sticks" being Rob's nickname as a premiership ruckman with Port Adelaide Footy Club).

In 2011 Rob purchased the former Hardy's Yarra Burn winery and launched the Rob Dolan Wines brand. The brand consists of three ranges: True Colours, Black Label and White Label which will feature during the Degustation Evening. The White Label range incorporates unique wines produced in limited quantities from various sites throughout the Yarra Valley. These wines have texture, complexity and will benefit from further time in bottle.
